According to the non-profit organization "Access Israel", 20-25 percent of the population of Israel experience accessibility related difficulties online. Dr. Gilead’s clinic website has been designed to be accessible to everyone. When improving accessibility for people with disabilities, we took in to consideration, among other things, users with motoric disabilities, cognitive disabilities, vision impairment, blindness and color blindness, hearing impairment, and senior citizens.
The site meets Level AA of the international W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, in accordance with Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 2013 (hereinafter: "the Regulations").
The website has been optimized for viewing on modern browsers.
We have invested a significant amount of resources to make our site easier to use and accessible for people with impairments in a strong belief that every person has the rights to live in dignity, equality, comfortability and independence.
We have placed an accessibility tool which helps improving the site to conform to websites accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
The accessibility menu can be activated by pressing the accessibility icon placed in the upper right corner of all pages. It enables many options including keyboard navigation, font replacement and enlargement, improve contrast, prevent flashing, accentuate links and more.
